'Scratch Translators' with KS2 for French Week... (16th to 20th March 2015)

It's French week! In KS2 we have been creating a translation program (script), starring ourselves! We imported a photograph of ourselves (sprite) and then a background (stage), placing us in France.

Using our new headphones and microphones, we recorded our own voice speaking in French and incorporated this into the script, with our on-screen sprite translating into English.

Please take a look below at some examples...

Storytelling with Year 5 and iMovie (6th March 2015)

This week has been World Book Week.  Each class selected an Author, or Book, to focus on for the week. Year 5 looked at David Walliams. We went for one of his picture books and discovered that, even though it was a picture book, it was a book for all ages! Watch our retelling below and see what you think!
