Communication & Interaction
Communication is fundamental to a child’s development. The ability to communicate and interact with others is essential for children to learn, play, and build friendships.
At St. Michael's Easthampstead, we are dedicated to supporting the development of children's communication and interaction skills. Some children may face challenges in communicating and interacting with others.
These difficulties can include one or more of the following:
- Understanding what others are saying
- Using words to express themselves
- Listening and paying attention
- Interacting with peers
- Pronouncing words correctly
- Speaking fluently
- The National Autistic Society
- I Can Communication Charity
- Berkshire Speech and Language
- Gems4Health
- Autism Central
- A parents' guide to supporting children and young people: ADHD and autism - YouTube
