1870 - 1890
Year 3 have been identifying the different fashion trends from the 1870s up to and including the 1890s. We have been looking at the different decades and how the fashion trends changed over time, we identified the similarities and differences between the clothes from these decades with the clothes we wear now.
In English, we used rhetorical questions, positive adjectives and imperatives to work in groups to create persuasive adverts to advertise a piece of clothing from one of the decades.
In Art, we looked at being fashion designers and the children chose a decade and designed a piece of clothing relating to the decade they had chosen using inspiration from pictures.
