1900 - 1920
For this half term's Anniversary Day, we were able to dress up in a costume from the era 1870 - 1920! We continued our learning from last half term using the theme of fashion but this time we looked at the decades 1900s - 1920s.
In English, we used the chromebooks to research and gather information under a variety of sub-headings for the fashion trends for women, men and children between the 20 year period. We then created information leaflets to show our information and learnt how to use paragraphs and the structure of a leaflet to present our research.
In Art, we looked in more detail at the clothing worn between the 1900s and the 1920s and re-created this on a picture of ourselves. We could either draw ourselves in the costume that we were wearing on the day or we could create our own. We used different styles of line and colour to replicate these designs.
